FastPlay HQ is run by FAST Sports in Wilmington, North Carolina. We make the websites youth sports leagues use for sign-ups, teams, schedules and live scores. This page explains what information those sites keep, why, and who can see it.
Who is responsible for your information
When you sign up with a league, that league decides how it uses your family's information, and we keep it for them. Questions about a league's rules, refunds or rosters go to that league. Questions about how this website keeps your information can come to us at hello@fastplayhq.com.
What we keep
- When a parent signs up players: the parent's name, email and phone; an optional second parent; an emergency contact; each player's name, birth date, grade, experience, jersey and shorts sizes and friend requests; whether the league may use photos; the waiver signature and when it was signed; and whether the sign-up is paid.
- Payments: cards are entered on Stripe's secure page, never on our site. We only learn whether a payment went through and how much it was.
- Phone alerts: if you turn them on, your phone's alert address and the teams you follow. No name or email is needed.
- Email updates: your email address, if you sign up for a league's updates.
- League admins and referees: an admin's name and email, used to sign in with a code. Referees use a link and give us nothing.
- Our contact form: what you type into it.
- The basics every website keeps: our hosting company records things like your internet address and browser to keep the site running and safe.
Your browser stores a little information on your device, like whether you're signed in and the latest scores so the page loads quickly. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How it's used
To run your league: placing players in divisions and on teams, schedules, scores, sending the alerts and emails you asked for, and taking payments. We don't sell anyone's information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who can see it
- Everyone: schedules, scores, standings, team names and league news. Players' names are never shown on public pages.
- Your league's admins: the sign-up information for their own league only. Each league's information is kept apart from every other league's.
- The companies that help us run the site: Supabase (our database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments) and Resend (email). They only use it to provide their service.
- The law: if we're legally required to share something, we will, and only what's required.
Children
Information about players is given to us by their parents or guardians. Kids don't make accounts or sign in, and we don't knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, tell us and we'll delete it.
Keeping it safe
Everything travels over a secure connection. Admins sign in with a one-time code instead of a password. Card numbers never reach us. No system is perfect, but we work to protect your information, and we'll tell affected leagues and families if something goes wrong.
How long we keep it, and your choices
We keep sign-up information while the league uses it. You can ask your league or us to see, correct or delete your family's information at hello@fastplayhq.com. Turn off phone alerts any time on the league's alerts page, and ask your league to take you off its email list whenever you like.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be shared with the leagues that use FastPlay HQ.
