Wilmington’s own. A Laney High Hall of Famer and former Wake Forest running back who now trains middle school, high school and college athletes.
Check in when you get there and you'll get a number. Coaches run drills and 7v7 reps and score each player. Families hear back by email with an offer to accept or decline.
Cleats, water, a mouthguard and gloves if your player wears them. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
Tryouts are free. Players who make a team pay season dues, shared with the offer. Families can pay by card, PayPal, cash or check, and some teams offer a payment plan.
The 2027 season runs after tryouts. Each team plays a set of tournaments, and families on the team see every date, place and RSVP on their private team page.
